England Internationals

England cricket participates in three main international formats: Test matches, One-Day Internationals (ODIs), and Twenty20 Internationals (T20Is). England has a long history of playing five-day Test cricket and has frequently competed in the renowned Ashes series against Australia.

In ODIs, where each team faces 50 overs, England won their first ICC Cricket World Cup title in 2019. Meanwhile, in T20Is, the shortest format with each team batting for 20 overs, England won the ICC World Twenty20 in 2010.

These formats highlight England’s international cricket power and tradition. A strong local framework, such as the County Championship and the Royal London One-Day Cup, supplements these formats, nurturing talent development and ensuring a large fan base across the country.
